The next edition of Town Talks with the Mayor is October 27, giving the Danville community an opportunity to hear the latest Town news and ask questions of Mayor Robert Storer. The series will continue with an hour-long discussion Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. The broadcast will be available live on Facebook and YouTube, with a recording available afterward on the Town’s social media channels.

This edition of Town Talks with the Mayor will highlight the Town's updated Housing Element and provide an update from Chief Allan Shields. Guests are welcome to submit questions on these or other topics in advance to towntalks@danville.ca.gov, or during the broadcast commenting on Facebook or Youtube.

The series will continue with an hour-long discussion Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. The broadcast will be available live on Facebook and YouTube, with a recording available afterward on the Town’s social media channels.

This edition of Town Talks with the Mayor will highlight the Downtown Master Plan project and include information on crime prevention from Chief Allan Shields. DANVILLE, Calif. (March 31, 2023): The popular Town Talks with the Mayor series returns April 7, giving the Danville community an opportunity to hear the latest Town news and ask questions of Mayor Robert Storer. While the January edition was cancelled due to the Town’s storm-related local emergency, Mayor Storer will begin the third year of this series with an hour-long discussion Friday at 9 a.m. The broadcast will be available live through Zoom, and recorded for viewing on YouTube and the Town’s social media channels.

This edition of Town Talks with the Mayor will highlight the Danville Police Department Annual Report, provide updates on the Diablo Culvert Replacement project, have a preview of the latest news in the quarterly Live Locally newsletter, and feature local retail businesses in Downtown Danville. Guests are welcome to submit questions on these or other topics in advance to towntalks@danville.ca.gov, or during the broadcast by using the chat function in Zoom.

The Danville Town Talks session scheduled for Friday, January 6 has been cancelled so that Town resources can focus on upcoming storms. We will post the 2023 Town Talks schedule soon. For the latest information about the local emergency and storms, visit danville.ca.gov.

In this month’s Town Talks installment, Danville Mayor Newell Arnerich is joined by former Mayor of Danville, Contra Costa County Supervisor Candace Andersen to discuss the importance of the relationship and roles between County government and Danville to provide services to the residents. Listen in to hear more about services from libraries to animal control, courts and criminal justice, and mental health.

In this month's Town Talks installment, Danville Mayor Newell Arnerich highlights the Town’s cultural heritage. Joined by Daniel Dunn, Director of the Museum of the San Ramon Valley and Florence McCauley, President of the Eugene O'Neil Foundation, Mayor Arnerich and guests will discuss how the Museum of San Ramon Valley and the Tao House contribute to the quality of life and how these two non-profits help to promote Danville.

In this month’s Town Talks installment, Danville Mayor Newell Arnerich is joined by the Town’s Economic Development Specialist, Lianna Adauto and Recreation Superintendent, Jessica Wallner to discuss holiday shopping and upcoming community events. Local business owners Thomas Magarov of Oliver & Gold and Keva Dodd of Whim House will also be joining to highlight in-store features during the fall season.
